A programmer is the person who prepare all the information about a project prior to the building design process. The programmer serve as the translator between the owner, the user and the designer or architect. The programmer helps owners, users, and designers define the scope of work to be solved by the design effort.
The programming phase is the best time to receive input from a wide variety of project stakeholders. Everyone who will be affected by the design should be given an opportunity to participate in programming.
