SEP is the service entry point. This is the utility company normally will install all the primary cabling, conduits and underground duct bank from the existing utility power up to the service connection point. Most of the time, the customer or the owner of the building/development will be responsible for the installing the duct from the transformer base to the SEP. SEP location will normally be provided to the owner once the transformer location is confirmed. The SEP location will be provided to the owner by the utility company.
